Bringing Chinese Heritage Craftsmanship to the World
Established in 2026, Rano Royal is dedicated to introducing the beauty of China’s intangible cultural heritage to a global audience. We connect time-honored craftsmanship with contemporary lifestyles through carefully selected lacquerware, herbal incense beads, embroidered sachets and other culturally inspired creations.
We have developed long-term partnerships with respected lacquerware workshops and experienced heritage artisans across China. Our collaborators include Pingyao Tangdu Polished Lacquerware, Pingyao Yonglonghao, Yangzhou Intangible Heritage Lacquerware Factory and Fuzhou Taigu Lacquer, together with more than ten nationally recognized lacquer-art inheritors, including Xue Xiaodong, Zhao Youcai and He Huihui.
Through these partnerships, we present lacquerware representing several important regional traditions, from Pingyao polished lacquerware and Yangzhou lacquer art to Fuzhou bodiless lacquerware. Each piece reflects the patience, precision and artistic knowledge passed down through generations.
Beyond lacquer art, Rano Royal also develops culturally inspired aromatherapy products, including handcrafted herbal incense beads and traditional herbal sachets. Selected aromatic materials are sourced from Bozhou, Anhui, one of China’s major centers for traditional herbal ingredients, and are crafted using traditional incense-making techniques associated with Fuzhou.
